Rachel Hoare

Over the last two decades, Rachel's career has spanned the globe from Australia to Europe to the US, with experience working on several Fortune 100 brands including Procter and Gamble, Nestlé and Georgia Pacific. 

Rachel has a diverse background ranging from QSR, lifestyle and fashion brands to consumer packaged goods, tourism, healthcare and technology. 

 

Rachel joined Deutsch in 2014 to lead the Pizza Hut account, including its rebranding and market re-positioning. Rachel also leads Georgia Pacific Brands Angel Soft and Vanity Fair, as well as Zillow and online legal service Avvo.

 

Prior to Deutsch, Rachel worked for M&C Saatchi across several international offices. Most recently in Los Angeles, Rachel served as EVP, Director of Operations and Development, growing the agency’s capabilities and operations. While at M&C Saatchi, Rachel also managed key accounts including Epson Printers, Qantas Airways, New Mexico Tourism Department, The Getty and the California Department of Public Health/H1N1. One of Rachel’s most memorable clients involved selling women’s shoes to men,  with the launch of UGG for Men featuring a rather handsome NFL Quarterback, Tom Brady.

 

During her time as an Account Director at M&C Saatchi’s London office, Rachel led key brands including Kronenbourg 1664 Beer, GlaxoSmithKline, and an integrated global re-launch in 18 markets for Jameson Irish Whiskey. She was also responsible for leading the Transport for London account, which won Campaign’s â€˜Advertiser of the year’ in 2008  â€” a first for a government advertiser. Additionally, Rachel led the development and coordination of the M&C Saatchi world network, spanning 18 offices in 13 countries, with responsibilities including new business, network strategy and new office openings. 

 

Rachel began her career in Sydney at Mojo Partners, working on high-profile packaged goods brands Nestlé Foods, Petcare and Nescafé as well as Procter and Gamble’s Metamucil and Vicks. 

 

Throughout her career, Rachel’s earned some of the industry’s highest accolades, including Telly Awards, Creative Circle Awards, a Cannes Lion, Procter & Gamble AAI best consumer insight award, Campaign Big Awards and HSMAI â€˜Best of Show’- including the best digital campaign for launching the first geocaching tourism app in the US.  Rachel has been a guest speaker and panelist at the HSMAI digital marketing conference, a judge for the AAF Advertising Case Competition and guest speaker at the New Mexico Governors Conference.

 

Rachel lives in West Hollywood with her husband Julian, son Henry, Mini Schnauzer Minnie and far too many shoes.
